Consulting Hypnotist
As a Consulting Hypnotist, Ty Arnold practices Non-Therapeutic Hypnotism.

Non-Therapeutic Hypnotism is the independent use of the hypnotic arts and sciences to help clients inculcate positive thinking and the capacity for self-hypnosis. As a Consulting Hypnotist, Ty does not practice Psychotherapy but rather coaches, teaches and guides his subjects toward the resolution of the problems, challenges and issues faced by normal people in everyday life.

Ty does not diagnose nor carry out any physical or mental evaluations or assessments of clients but does help them with goal setting as required in relation to their problems, challenges and issues. TY will not treat subjects per se for the problems, issues and challenges they bring to him but will induce a subject into the self-hypnotic state. This is a state of relaxed concentration which anyone can and does regularly enter into naturally. Ty instructs subjects how to enter this natural state more easily and effectively.

The Consulting Hypnotist will suggest ways for clients to achieve their goals, resolve their problems, issues and meet their challenges while the client is in self-hypnotic state. However Ty will not prescribe solutions to his clients. Suggestion in this context refers to the artful use of imagination to increase a client's enthusiasm for self improvement using self-help techniques. The self-help techniques employed by the Consulting Hypnotist are thinking strategies used by normally-functioning people to remind themselves of improvements they wish to make in their lives.

Please note that a Consulting Hypnotist is not a physician, pyschotherapist, psychiatrist, psychologies, master of family child counselling, or master of social work. None of the work provided by the Consulting Hypnotist substitutes for medical attention and should not be used as a substitute for your physician's role in monitoring and treating you.

An induced state of relaxation and concentration which brings a heightened state of awareness in which the body and conscious mind are deeply relaxed.
This state resembles sleep in which deeper parts of the mind become more accessible, more receptive to positive suggestions for change
You remain fully aware and are in complete control at all times while in hypnosis.

Hypnosis is a tool used to bypass critical thinking.
It allows suggestions to be accepted into the subconscious mind which are then incorporated into a new "automatic" behavior.
Hypnosis is used for personal benefit, it cannot "control" you or cause you to do anything against your free will.

Commonly used to guide behavior for positive change.

Often refered to as a trance.

Occurs naturally many times each day such as arriving at a destination with minimal memory opf the trip, not being responsive to outsie stimuli when reading a book.

Therapeutic hypnosis is used to improve your health and well-being which is not stage hypnosis which is for entertainment purposes only.

Self Talk
Self Talk (or Mind Chatter) is comprised of thoughts that only we hear. They start in our head and ride that constant flow of consciousness that runs through our mind, day and night. Self-talk is then reflected in our outer lives via our words and actions.

We tend to dwell out Self Talk on negative matters projected into the future.
When we hear these thoughts enough, we actually start to believe them.
They create concern, worry, dread, fear.
WIth enough dedicated Self Talk, they can subconsciously become our reality.

Imagine giving this belabored negative thoughts outward attention at a conscious level.
We can lean to catch them thoughts and create anchors that may be able to deflect those undesired thoughts before they bury themselves deeply into our being and become our reality.

We can learn to bring ourselves to be at peace.
When at peace, we can handle most any situation that comes our way.
When at peace, we can find that real connection with our inner selves.
When at peace, we live to our fullest.
