The goal of this Workshop is to assist you in letting go and releasing any thought, person, place, situation or thing that is causing you stress; to take it outside yourself, to look at it from a different perspective and to release it from your consciousness - to just let it go.

Contentment grows out of a willingness to surrender preconceived ideas and affirm reality as it is. Honoring "what is", whatever that may be, surrendering to the moment and realizing that you can accept, affirm and even dance with whatever is going on around you.

Letting go seems to be the biggest challenge of all of us - whether on a spiritual path or not. We think we've let it go, we analyze it, we understand that we no longer want it or need it, and we let it go. We relax and it comes right back. We get determined to not think about it and like a bad penny, it comes right back. We give it away, we throw it away, we argue with it and we turn our backs on it and we push it down and it comes right back.

We all have times when we just can't seem to let go of a thought, a person, an experience. Good, bad, or indifferent, sometimes thoughts and feelings seem to hang on, like a dog with a bone. Popping up, unbidden, causing us to experience negative feelings over and over again. Interfering with our ability to be present in the moment with our lives, often preventing us from moving on, moving forward.

In this program you will experience a guided meditation to assist you in letting go and releasing any thought, person, place, situation or thing that is causing you stress. According to the surgeon General, approximately 300,000 deaths each year in the U.S. may be attributable to obesity. Overweight and obesity are associated with heart disease, certain types of cancer, type 2 diabetes, stroke, arthritis, breathing problems and psychological disorders, such as depression. If your doctor has told you to lose weight, it is because your weight may be putting you at risk for serious health issues.

A Journal of Consulting & Clinical Psychology report studied 60 women who were at least 20% overweight. The women who participated in hypnosis lost an average of 17 pounds while the control group lost only a half pound on average.

The inherent problem with dieting is the extreme focus on the foods that you are eating rather than on helping you change the way you think about food.
